Once you submit this application, you will receive an automated email response from eBay Partner Network’s Customer Support Team. You must respond directly to that email within 72 business hours providing the following information or your application to promote through this promotional method may be rejected.

  • A screenshot of how a user would opt-in to your email campaigns (i.e. sign-up for newsletter on your site, choosing join on social media page).
  • A screenshot of a sample email campaign or instant message that has been previously sent with the header, content showing how eBay is integrated and footer with opt-out process.
  • Screenshots per regulatory requirements must include the following:
    • User opt-in
    • User opt-out (unsubscribe)
    • If promoting through email/ newsletter, full header and footer details need to be included in the screenshot. This includes the To, From, Subject in the header and company name and postal address in footer with opt-out.
